(Polk County, IA) -- An Iowa man's been charged in the death and disappearance of a woman.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says 46-year-old James Klever of Mt. Ayr is charged in the death of 30-year-old Rachel Reuter of Cassville, Wisconsin. Investigators believe Klever killed Rueter in Bondurant June 13th. Her remains have not been found.
The Sheriff's Office says Reuter's father made a missing person's report to Urbandale Police June 16th. Multiple law enforcement agencies began looking into the case and evidence led them to a residence in Bondurant.
Investigators are asking for help from the public. Anyone that had contact with, or saw Ms. Reuter or Mr. Klever in June, 2021 are asked to contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at (515)286-3334.
