(Des Moines, IA) -- A 15-year-old boy shot in Des Moines has died. Police say the teen was shot near 17th Street and Forest Avenue Sunday. A neighbor performed CPR until medics arrived. The teen died at the hospital today (Tuesday).
Police say someone opened fire near Evelyn Davis Park at 11:23 a.m. Sunday. Police have been gathering evidence and talking to witnesses, but have not made an arrest in the case yet.
