(Washington, D.C.) -- Iowa U.S. Representative Cindy Axne will seek re-election in Iowa's 3rd Congressional District. Axne made the announcement Friday, saying the plans to continue representing Iowa's 3rd District in 2022.
The announcement ends speculation that Axne may run for Governor. In August, Axne had said she'd narrowed her options to seeking re-election to U.S. Congress or making a run for Governor.
