(Omaha, NE) -- Douglas County Sheriff's office deputies responded to a report of a trespasser trying to stab people at the Uta Halee Academy on Saturday.
The deputy first to arrive on the scene attempted to detain the woman after she drove her car into the academy yard.
The woman refused command and threw white powder and a glass jar at the deputy, hitting him in the forehead.
The deputy got the woman to the ground and was transported to the hospital for his forehead when other officers arrived.
The woman was attempting to stab a Postal Carrier with a piece of broken glass, but was unsuccessful and only caused minor scratches thanks to a thick coat.
The suspect was booked for second degree assault, second degree assault on an officer, third degree assault on an officer, trespassing, and criminal mischief.
