(Ankeny, IA) -- The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) is launching a new on demand service.
DART On Demand is now available in Ankeny. Its a new microtransit service which will pick a rider up at their location and then take them to another location within a specific area of the city.
Rides can be booked in the moment or ahead of time through the DART On Demand app, which can be downloaded on your Apple or Android device. The service is available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
