(Des Moines, IA) -- Police are looking for a man, accused of beating a woman for hours in Des Moines, sending her to the hospital. Police say 25-year-old Ricardo Carroll is wanted for Attempted Murder and Willful Injury.
Police say an investigation began November 13th after a woman reported being assaulted on the city's south side. Police say for several hours, the woman was repeatedly, intentionally, punched, kicked, chocked, and burned by Ricardo Carroll.
The victim is hospitalized and is expected to survive.
Carroll is described as 5’6” in height, weighing approximately 150 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about his location is asked to contact the Des Moines Police Department.
