Part of Des Moines Building Collapses in Early Morning Fire

(Des Moines, IA) -- Fire crews in Des Moines are investigating what started a fire on the east side Thursday morning.

Firefighters were called to the non-residential building at E 23rd Street and Capitol Avenue just after 4 a.m. Once the fire was put out, crews saw that part of the building had collapsed.

No one was hurt in the fire.
