No Injuries After Fire At Downtown Cedar Rapids Restaurant

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- No one's hurt after an early morning fire at a restaurant in downtown Cedar Rapids. The fire broke out in the kitchen at White Star on 2nd Avenue Southeast. The fire department says the restaurant's sprinkler system helped keep the flames down until firefighters arrived. The building has minor damage. The fire department says the fire started when rags that were covered in grease were put in the dryer.
