(Nevada, IA) -- A central Iowa Hormel Foods company is donating thousands of dollars to build a new sports facility in Nevada [[ nuh-VAY-duh ]], east of Ames. Burke Corporation announced today it will donate 250-thousand dollars to the Nevada Foundation for the Nevada Fieldhouse. The facility will be about 40-thousand square feet on the first floor and about 16-thousand square feet on the second floor. It'll have a gym, track, flexible court/turf area, batting cages, play area, lobby, and offices. The whole project will cost around seven-million dollars and most of the money has already been raised.
