(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Tiffany O'Donnell will be the next mayor of Cedar Rapids. The Republican defeated Democrat Amara Andrews 68% to 32% in Tuesday's runoff election. O'Donnell will take office in January. She's replacing current Mayor Brad Hart, who finished third on Election Day earlier this month. The Linn County Auditor's Office says early 21.5% of registered voters participated in the runoff.
