(Dubuque, IA) -- Crystal Farrell has been arrested for first degree arson after a fire at the Canfield Hotel in Dubuque on Wednesday night.
The 42 year old told an officer on the scene she had set fire to her divorce paperwork on her hotel bed.
Farrell claims she yelled throughout the hotel and called the fire department herself to warn them about what she was about to do.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 17.
