(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha hospitals are seeing an increasing number of suicide attempts and deaths, especially in teenagers.

Tim Hron, Mental Health Therapist with CHI Health Bergan Mercy, says Nebraska is seeing more death by suicide than the previous year.

This trend is growing nationwide as the CDC reports that there was a 31% increase in children visiting the emergency room for mental health concerns between 2019 and 2020.
