(Des Moines, IA) -- The Blank Park Zoo started their Santa at the Zoo event on Saturday.
“Seeing the faces of the children and all the smiles, being able to go out and do things are so important, and a lot of people don’t know that the zoo is a registered nonprofit,” said Andrea Stacy. “So just your admission dollars makes a huge difference for us and all the work we do saving animals in the wild as well.”
Andrea Stacy is the Public Events Manager at Blank Park Zoo. Stacy tells WHO 13 events like Santa at the Zoo are easy ways to support the organization.
Santa will return to Blank Park Zoo on December 18th from 10 am to 2 pm.
The event is free with regular admission.
