(Fort Dodge, IA) -- A man's arrested after law enforcement says he escaped a jail in Fort Dodge. The Webster County Sheriff's Office says 43-year-old Jordan Mefferd of Fort Dodge used sheets to climb down a third story window at the Webster County Jail Saturday night. The sheriff's office says deputies found Mefferd early Sunday morning and arrested him after a car chase. He's now facing two additional felony charges. The sheriff's office says a woman who was in the car with Mefferd was also arrested. Twenty-seven-year-old Destiny Sumpter is charged with aiding and abetting.
