(Omaha, NE) -- The National Weather Service in Omaha says they have two teams of meteorologists out today looking at potential tornado damage from the December 15 storms in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.
If a tornado is confirmed, they will determine the classification on the Fujita or EF Scale, based on the debris field size, type, and wind velocity.
They say it may take a couple of days to gather all of the pertinent information relating to the massive wind event of December 15th.
