(Iowa) -- Utility companies are continuing to restore power to Iowans across the state after yesterday's record-setting storms.
As of Thursday afternoon, MidAmerican Energy reports about 6,300 outages remaining, the majority of which are in the Council Bluffs, Des Moines, and Fort Dodge areas.
Alliant Energy energy reports about 8,400 outages remain in Iowa. REC reports over 4,100 outages remaining after last night's storms. You can track the outage maps for each of those three utility services below:
