(Moline, IL) -- There have been reports of 2,000 flights being cancelled Monday across the United States as travelers try to return home from their Christmas holidays.
The Quad City International Airport is reporting only a few cancellations and delays for both Arrivals and Departures Monday.
Airlines blame quarantined crewmembers for the flight cancellations, backing up travelers across the nation. The coronavirus variant Omicron has been spreading ahead of the holiday.
