Winter Storm Taking Aim At Iowa This Weekend

(Undated) -- A winter storm is taking aim at Iowa this weekend. The National Weather Service says the storm will push into Iowa Saturday morning and continue throughout much of the day. The heaviest snowfall is expected to fall along and south of I-80. The Weather Service says blowing snow is possible, which could reduce visibility and make travel hazardous. Iowa will also see bitter cold temperatures this weekend. Some of the coldest temperatures will be overnight Saturday into Sunday when some parts of the state could see temperatures over ten degrees below zero and wind chills around 30-below.
