The forecasters at the Omaha National Weather Service office say while we are expected to get into the 30's and low 40's Monday and Tuesday, north winds will deliver colder air for the middle of the week.
Light snow will be possible Wednesday afternoon and evening, with chances ranging from 30-50% from north to south across eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
WOWT 6 News Senior Chief Meteorologist Rusty Lord expects snow amounts to be very light, generally less than 2″ in the area, though slick spots could show during the Thursday morning commute.
