(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines police are searching for a man who reportedly assaulted a 12-year-old girl after luring her into his vehicle on November 11th, 2021.
Police say the man offered the girl a ride after she missed a bus. The girl was waiting inside a business in the 100 block of E. Euclid Avenue, when she was approached by the man.
Instead of driving the 12-year-old home, the man drove her to a different location and assaulted her. The child was able to escape to a nearby building where someone called the police.
The photos above detail the suspect on the night of the incident. Police say the suspect stands 6 feet tall.
