(Douglas, NE) -- Douglas County is seeing a record coronavirus positivity rate. The Douglas County Health Department reported over 1,400 new coronavirus cases Monday, pushing the county’s seven-day positivity rate to over 30%. That’s nearly 20% higher than two weeks ago. Douglas County hospitals are currently at around 87% capacity, but are still taking care of fewer coronavirus patients than they were in November 2020.
