Moline Police: Alcohol May Have Been Factor In Deadly Car Crash

(Moline, IL) -- Moline police say alcohol may have been a factor in a recent deadly car crash on the city's south side. Police say two cars crashed head-on in the 900 block of 36th Avenue Sunday afternoon, killing 69-year-old Gregory Blaser of Silvis. Police say a woman crossed into oncoming traffic and hit Blaser's car. She's in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
