(Columbus, NE) -- A man’s arrested in connection with a murder in Columbus. Twenty-eight-year-old Michael Keener was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of first-degree murder. He’s accused of killing 77-year-old Larry Houdek in the 200 block of 16th Avenue Sunday afternoon. Police say they came into contact with Keener after he fell and hit his head earlier in the day. They say that’s when he admitted to the murder. Police haven’t said what led to the murder.
