(Marshalltown, IA) -- A man's charged with attempted murder after police say he shot another man through an apartment door in Marshalltown. Police say Dominick Laurie was arguing with a man at an apartment in the 200 block of Grant Street Wednesday when Laurie shot the man through a closed door. Police say Laurie fired four shots, hitting the man three times. He was taken to the hospital and has since been released. In addition to attempted murder Laurie's also charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon and two counts of reckless use of a firearm.
