Valley Junction Steering Committee Approves New Design Guidelines

(West Des Moines, IA) -- A plan to redesign West Des Moines’s Valley Junction is another step closer to coming together. On Wednesday a steering committee made up of Valley Junction residents, business owners, and developers approved new design guidelines for the district. The guidelines deal with how tall buildings can be and other building design details. The guidelines must be approved by the West Des Moines City Council on February 21st. The steering committee will meet again in March to go over more design details.
