Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts will lead a trade mission to the United Kingdom and Ireland that will include the "week zero" Husker football season opener in Ireland.
His office says the Governor and economic development and agriculture representatives plan to go on the eight day mission starting August 20th.
The Huskers and Northwestern play a Big Ten Conference game in Aviva Stadium in Dublin on August 27th in the "Aer Lingus Football Classic."
Ricketts has led Nebraska business executives and state administrators on trips to Asia, Europe, Mexico and Canada during his tenure, helping business leaders build relationships abroad and drawing investments in Nebraska from foreign companies.
