Omaha Police are investigating an early Wednesday morning assault and robbery in south central Omaha.
Officers on patrol in the area of 42nd and Grover were flagged down by a citizen around one a.m. and told that an armed robbery and cutting had just occurred.
Investigators say police then located 52-year old Anthony Palazzola, who told them he had been robbed and assaulted by two men at 42nd and F Streets.
Omaha Fire paramedics took Palazzola to the hospital, and police say his injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.
