(Omaha, IA) -- An Omaha police officer went to the hospital after to responding to a fight at a middle school.
Police were called to Beveridge Magnet School Friday morning where a fight was going on between school staff and a student.
During the altercation, an officer hit his head on the ground and was sent to the hospital as a precaution according to Omaha Police Cap. Marcia West.
Police say the officer will be okay, and someone was taken into custody.
