Winter's Return To Feature Bitter Wind Chills

The Omaha office of the National Weather Service reports bitter cold wind chills are expected during the nighttime and morning hours for the next few days.

Dangerous wind chills of -20 to -30 will be most widespread Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

WOWT 6 News Senior Chief Meteorologist Rusty Lord calls Wednesday a "First Alert Day" with dangerous wind chills during the morning hours, though some improvement during the afternoon.

He says Thursday is also a "First Alert Day" with the increased threat of some daytime accumulating snow.
