MoneyGeek: Nebraska Among Least Tax-Friendly States In The U.S.

(Undated) -- A new report shows Nebraska is one of the least tax-friendly states in the country. MoneyGeek says Nebraska is one of just a dozen states to get a tax-friendliness grade of D or lower. MoneyGeek says the average Nebraskan pays 12.6% of their income in taxes. The average tax bill in Nebraska is $10,446. Neighboring Iowa also has a tax-friendliness grade of D. MoneyGeek says the most tax-friendly state is Wyoming and the least is Illinois. A full list of states is available here.
