Sentencing In Realtor's Murder Will Be In Spring

An automatic sentence of life in prison will be imposed in May for a man convicted of first-degree murder and use of a weapon in the death of an Omaha realtor.

A Douglas County District Court jury quickly finds 44-year-old Ross Lorello guilty in the death of Michael "Mickey" Sodoro.

The 70-year-old was shot and killed in a home near 193rd and W Streets in December of 2020.

Prosecutors say Lorello and Sodoro had met at a home that Lorello was going to rent.
