We haven't had much time for Fun Friday - HORRAAAYYYYYY - recently, so when this story came across my desk I felt we had to share it.
A Flagler County Sheriff Deputy pulled over a driver who he alleged had been speeding and who ran a stop light.
There were excuses! A LOT of excuses!
(1). I just got the car and was trying to get it out of "sports mode"
(2). There was another car and I wanted to "get out before them"
But the best one he saved for last. Putin. Yes, Russian Dictator/President, Vladimir Putin.
"I just found out that Putin just said he's gonna launch nuclear thermal war against the world, and I was trying to get back to my house to find out what's going on. I'm freaking out."

The traffic stop took place on the same day Putin invaded Ukraine.
The driver received two tickets - one for speeding and the other for running the stop sign.
