Death Penalty Still Sought In Bellevue Restaurant Murders

The Sarpy County Attorney's office will continue to seek the death penalty for the man who has pleaded guilty to all 15 felony charges in connection with a deadly attack at a Bellevue "Sonic" restaurant.

The County Attorney says Roberto Silva Jr pleads guilty to throwing an incendiary device, igniting materials in a rental truck and shooting four employees at the drive-in near 15th and Cornhusker Road on November 21st, 2020.

Two of the employees died in the attack.

Among the charges are two counts of First Degree Murder and two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder.
