The National Weather Service Omaha office says a Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect from 6 p.m. Wednesday to 6 p.m. Thursday, which includes Omaha/Council Bluffs and Lincoln. Portions of east central and southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa;
WOWT 6 News Senior Chief Meteorologist Rusty Lord says model trends continue to take the heaviest snow to the south of the Omaha/CB Metro.
For now, he is expecting up to 1.5″ at most in the Omaha/CB area with the heavier totals to the south.
