According to the Omaha Fire Department, which was on the scene, a Nebraska State Fire Marshal initial report says it was an accidental fire around midnight that heavily damaged a home near 219th and Sliverado Drive near West Center Road.
Arriving firefighters found two sides of the house on fire and fire coming through the roof.
Investigators say everyone escaped the home, though a dog did die in the fire.
The fire was under control after approximately an hour-and-a-half;
