Douglas County Siren Test Cancelled

The Douglas County Emergency Management Agency says, due to colder temperatures and winds, the tornado sirens in Douglas County will not sound at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

They were originally scheduled to sound and be tested for The National Weather Service annual "Severe Weather Awareness Week."

The county says the next monthly, routine siren test of civil defense sirens in Douglas County will be on April 6th at 11 a.m.
