(Anamosa, IA) -- Police in Anamosa are investigating a barn fire that killed six animals Tuesday night.

Reports say six goats, a dog and a pig died in the fire that eventually spread to a corncrib and well house.

Police believe heat lamps inside the barn were the cause of the fire.
