Who is running the country? Who's in charge?

It won't be the last time and it certainly wasn't the first time, but yesterday President Biden was once again caught using a cheat sheet for answers to tough questions during a press conference.

And like a very good boy, he repeated those answers word for word before going ff script and making his staff walk back more things.

Most important one was "if you weren't advocating for regime change, what did you mean? Can you clarify?". That question of course refers to Biden saying behind a Lectern displaying the Presidential Seal "For God's sake this man cannot remain in power".

The answer on the cheat sheets was in two parts.

  1. I was expressing the moral outrage I felt toward the actions of this man
  2. I was not advocating a change in policy.

And what did the President say when asked the question in yesterday's press conference? “I was expressing the moral outrage that I felt toward this man,” Biden said. “I wasn’t articulating a policy change.”

The question is now a very serious one. Who is running the country? Who is writing the President's answers?
