(Clinton, Iowa) -- A Clinton, Iowa man is charged with murder and arson in the death of a central Iowa man.
Police and firefighters responded to a fire at a Clinton apartment building on Saturday, and once the fire was extinguished, they found the body of Dustin Doran of Newton, Iowa inside. The Iowa State Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and determined Doran's death to be a homicide. Police arrested Trevor Ward on Wednesday and are holding him in the Clinton County Jail.
He's being charged with first degree murder and arson in the first degree.
