(Cedar Falls, Iowa) -- A dog is safe and no one is hurt after a Cedar Falls home caught fire Friday morning.
Cedar Falls firefighters responded to reports of the fire around 10a.m. in the 700 block of Bluff Street. No one was home at the time of the fire, but firefighters were able to rescue a dog from inside the house. They were able to extinguish the fire, but the home sustained significant damage. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
