(Undated) -- Egg prices are up, blamed on the bird flu. Data from the US Department of Agriculture shows tens of millions of infected chickens and turkeys have been destroyed in an attempt to stop the spread of the avian flu. This includes commercial flocks in two dozen states including Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Missouri, Illinois, and Minnesota. The Wall Street Journal reports egg prices are up 50% since January.
