(Des Moines, IA) -- Iowa's 15th bird flu outbreak is confirmed, in a commercial turkey flock in Hamilton County, in North Central Iowa. It's the second outbreak confirmed there.
Iowa has the highest number of birds lost to the avian influenza in the U.S. at more than 26-Million. Most of the birds killed are egg-laying chickens; commercial turkeys and other birds are also affected.
