Nebraska Gas Prices Drop 14 Cents Since Last Month

(Undated) -- Gas prices in Nebraska are nearly 14 cents cheaper today than a month ago.

AAA says the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Nebraska is $3.78, which is 5 cents cheaper than a week ago.

The cheapest gas in Nebraska is in Norfolk, where the average price for a gallon of unleaded gas goes for $3.62.

Majority of the state sees prices under $4.00 per gallon when going to the pump, unless you go to Dundy, Frontier, or Sherman county. Sherman sees the state's highest prices, where a gallon of regular gas is $4.25.

The average prices for a gallon of unleaded in Nebraska's Metros are the following:

  • Columbus - $3.81
  • Grand Island - $3.77
  • Kearney - $3.84
  • Lincoln - $3.85
  • Dubuque - $3.89
  • Norfolk - $3.63
  • North Platte - $3.86
  • Omaha - $3.74

The average price of gas in Nebraska remains cheaper than the national average, which is up to $4.11 for a gallon of unleaded gas.
