(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The suspected shooter facing charges in the Taboo Nightclub & Lounge shooting is reportedly the father of the dead woman's child.
Linn County birth records obtained by the Cedar Rapids Gazette say 32-year-old suspect Timothy Rush is the father of a child born to 35-year-old Nicole Owens in 2021. Owens was shot and killed in the Sunday morning shooting. A court document for Rush is also now saying he previously had worked for the Taboo Nightclub.
Rush has been under arrest since Monday, police still say there were two shooters.
