Second Suspect Arrested In Cedar Rapids Deadly Nightclub Shooting

(Undated) -- A second suspect in a deadly Cedar Rapids nightclub shooting has been arrested near Chicago. The U-S Marshal's Service says 29-year-old Dimione Jamal Walker was wanted for murder, and other charges stemming from the shooting April 10th at the Taboo Nightclub. Two people, 25-year-old Michael Valentine, and 35-year-old Nicole Owens, both of Cedar Rapids died. Ten others were injured.

Walker is wanted in Linn County on the following charges:

  • 1st-degree murder
  • intimidation with a dangerous weapon
  • going armed with intent
  • felon possession of a firearm

US Marshals arrested Walker today without incident in Matteson, Illinois.

Thirty-two-year-old Timothy Rush was arrested days after the shooting and charged with 2nd-degree murder and other charges.
