Revisions to the Omaha Public School District Code of Conduct are advanced.
The changes unanimously passed the first reading Monday night during a school board meeting.
The updates include changes to the district's leveled intervention approach to student behavior violations.
Under the proposed changes, administrators will be able use more or less severe measures depending on the situation.
The revisions will go through another reading and school board vote.
