Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts says the state has the financial resources to deal with the fatal wildfires of this dry, windy Spring, but he is concerned about the human resources.
"We're looking down again at the '702 Fire;' right now it's alot of the same fire crews that were helping us out with the fire that we had before in Furnas and Gosper County;"
The Governor went on to thank the firefighters who have been responding to these dangerous fires.
"The vast majority of the folks that we have in the state that fight fires are volunteers, and that's what we've seen with these fires.
The Governor points out the "702 Fire" battle in south central and southwest Nebraska has involved about 30 volunteer firefighters.
