(Fairfield, Iowa) -- One of the two Fairfield, Iowa teens accused of murdering a high school teacher will appear in court today.
A hearing is scheduled for 1:00 this afternoon on whether to have 17 year-old Jeremy Goodale's trial moved to juvenile court. He and Willard Miller are accused of killing Fairfield High School Spanish teacher Nohema Graber in November of last year, when both were 16 years old.
In Iowa, juveniles age 16 and older are automatically charged as adults for violent felonies, but attorneys for both Goodale and Miller have asked to have the teens tried as minors. Miller's hearing on the matter is scheduled for next Friday, May 6th.
The hearing will be streamed online here.
