(Ankeny, IA) -- Des Moines Area Community College reports the decision to shorten the trucker education program has been a success. Sixty people have completed the DMACC program according to WHO-13. The DMACC Transportation Institute shortened the program at the beginning of this semester from six weeks to four weeks. The trucking industry was 80,000 drivers short in 2021 according to the American Trucking Association.
