The Omaha office of the National Weather Service confirms tornadoes touched down in southeast Nebraska.
They say two EF-One tornadoes touched down south of Douglas, Nebraska in Otoe County during Friday night's line of severe storms.
The surveyors say the twisters came through with wind speeds just under a-hundred miles an hour.
Both tornadoes took down trees;
A barn was destroyed in one of them, and a home and sheds were damaged in the other.
